Marguerite D. Bryant

West Boylston- Marguerite D. (Welch) Bryant, 90, of West Boylston and formerly of Framingham passed away Tuesday, December 4 in the Beaumont Nursing Center, Westborough.

She leaves her husband of 56 years, James G. Bryant; a son, Paul D. Bryant of Paxton; a daughter, Diane E. Bryant and her husband, Rachid BenBouazza of Ashland; a grandson, James R. Masse of West Boylston; a son-in-law, Michael A. Masse of West Boylston and many nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly. A daughter, Nancy E. Masse and three brothers, Ervin Welch, Henry Welch and Robert Welch predeceased her. She was born in Bridgewater, ME, daughter of Guy and Bessie (Baston) Welch and graduated from Framingham High School class of 40'.

Marguerite worked at the former New England Telephone Company for many years, retiring in 1983. Following her retirement she enjoyed many summers in Chatham and winters in Florida. She was an active member of the First Congregational Church of West Boylston. She was an avid reader, loved music and sang in her church choir in Chatham. Marguerite was fond of saying "crossword puzzles would prevent alzheimer's disease". She was always trying to keep herself busy and enjoyed volunteering.

The Funeral Service will be held Saturday, December 8 at 11 AM in the First Congregational Church, 26 Central St. Burial will be in Mt. Vernon Cemetery. Visiting Hours are Friday, December 7 from 4 to 7 PM at FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 1 West Boylston. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Assoc. 20 Speen St., Framingham, 01701.
