Philip J. DeCrisanti Sr.

“Uncle Phil”

Mr. Philip J. DeCrisanti Sr., 72, of Wolcott, died Thursday, November 22, 2012 at the Bristol Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Diane “Lady Di” (Bringman) DeCrisanti.

Phil was born in Waterbury on November 21, 1940, son of the late Joseph and Antoinette (Famiglietti) DeCrisanti. He was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School and was a honorably discharged veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was employed at Pratt and Whitney for 33 years, until he retired in 1999. He was a member of the American Legion of Bristol. He enjoyed NASCAR racing, fishing, bowling and watching the Patriots and the Red Sox, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his two grandsons.

Besides his wife of 48 years, he leaves two sons, Philip J. DeCrisanti Jr of Avon and Douglas DeCrisanti of Wolcott, a daughter, Gloria (DeCrisanti) Frenette and her husband Tom of Oakville, four brothers, John DeCrisanti, David DeCrisanti and his wife Christine, Paul DeCrisanti, Edward DeCrisanti all of Waterbury, two sisters, Alyce Cass and her husband Joseph of Waterbury, Dolores DeCrisanti of New York, NY two grandsons, Tom Frenette Jr. and Bobby Frenette, several nieces, nephews and cousins , two aunts, Dolores Jacovino and Alice Greco, and an uncle Larry DeCrisanti. He was predeceased by a sister, Elaine DeCrisanti and a brother, Joseph DeCrisanti.

Arrangements: Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. at Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury. Burial will follow at Edgewood Cemetery, Wolcott. Calling hours will be held Monday, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
