Viewing Friday November 23, 2012 from 1PM until 8PM at the Stinson Northwest Chapel located 16540 Meyers Road at the John Lodge Fwy. Funeral Services will be held Saturday in the Chapel of the Funeral Home at 11AM. Family Hour 10:30AM. Interment: Detroit Memorial Park West Cemetery.

Louis Beacham was born December 6, 1937 in Hazelhurst, Mississippi to the late Willie Edna Brandon and Charles Horace Beacham who preceded him in death. he was the youngest of four children Thomas, Dorothy and Jean.

Louis was baptized at Saint James Missionary Baptist Church and attended Parrish School in Hazelhurst, Mississippi. He completed his education in the Detroit Public School System when his family relocated in the late 1940's.

Louis later enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served his country and received an honorable discharge. He later obtained the skill trade of Auto-body Repair Technician, "Body Man" as he would call it. He went into business for himself and florished in the Body Shop, Bumping,and Painting Industry.

Louis was well loved and respected by all who knew him. Louis loved life and everything it had to offer. He loved to travel by automobile with his family to just enjoy the scenery of God's green earth.

Louis was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend who enjoyed cooking and spending time with his family to which he would give his last. His heart was so big that he would open his doors to anyone in need.

Louis departed us peacefully on November 19, 2012 in the comfort of his home, with his loving wife Elaine by his side. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Elaine, sons: Sioul, Eniale narene), Robert, DaShawn (Kindra), Michael, and Dwight; daughter: Valerie; grandchildren: Dana Ebonee, Mariah, Siya, Tony, Ethan, Isis, Aidan, Caydan; great-grandchildren: Daron, Akira, Akaila, Ahmarion, A'mere, Marcell, Aijuan; Sister: Jean (Charles) McCoy; sister-in-law: Helen Keys; Nieces: sharon, Tonjia, Donna, and Renee; Nephews: Randy, Ronnie, Rommel, and DeWayne. His sister, Dorothy Joiner and brother Thomas Keyes preceded him in death.

Louis has left a legacy of love that will transcend throughtout time.
