Terri Dawn Chambers, 53 of Athens died early Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012 at O’Bleness Memorial Hospital, Athens, following a brief illness.
She was born Dec. 5, 1958 in Athens, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Donald E. & Rose M. Dailey Chambers.
A 1977 graduate of Athens High School, she earned bachelors and masters degrees in counseling education from Ohio University. She was a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor III.
She was a member of The Plains United Methodist Church and Jan’s Fans.
Terri is survived by her children- Ashlee Grubb & Derek Brown of Lowell, Tyler (Amber) Grubb of Lancaster and Kaitlin Grubb of Marietta; two grandchildren, Braxton & Jayden Brown of Lowell; a brother & sister in law, Tom & Cathy Chambers of Athens; two nephews, Brett (Elyse) Chambers and Corey Chambers of Athens.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Nov. 17th at 1:00 pm at The Plains United Methodist Church, The Plains, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her honor to The Plains United Methodist Church, 3 N. Plains Rd., The Plains, Ohio 45780. Arrangements are with Jagers & Sons Funeral Home, Athens.
