Margaret Johnson

On Thursday, November 8, 2012, Margaret Johnson of Nashville, Arkansas, was called home, along with her husband Glen, by her side. Her death was sudden and by way of a tragic accident, but all who knew her, know she’s with the Lord. Her homegoing service will be Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 11:00 AM, at McAlaster High School Gymnasium in Mineral Springs, Arkansas, with Rev. Michel Griffin, Pastor of Bright Star Baptist Church will be officiating. Margaret was born May 27, 1951 in Schaal, Arkansas, to the parentage of the late George Lee, Jr. and Rosie Lee Shellworth Lee. She worked at Champion Auto Parts, Husqvarna and was presently a custodian at Mineral Springs High School. She was a faithful member of Bright Star Baptist Church in Schaal, where she loved singing for the lord in the choir. Margaret was married to her soul mate, Glen Franklin Johnson and the two had just celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on November 4, 2012.

Margaret was predeceased by her parents, three brothers: Wallace Lee, Freddie Lee, and Kenneth Lee; one sister Mildred Draper.

She is survived by two daughters: Yvonne Johnson and Yulonda Stewart; three grandchildren, five brothers: Floyd Lee of Los Angeles, California, Willie Lee of Phoenix, Arizona, James Draper of Oakland, California, Mack Lee of Nashville, Arkansas, Chester Lee of Okolana, Arkansas; three sisters: Mattie Criner of Troy, Ohio, Ethel J. Day of Phoenix, Arizona and Edith Graves of Nashville, Arkansas. Three special grandchildren: Trakandra Sharp, Tyundra and Takela Stewart all of Nashville, Arkansas. who she loved dearly.

Margaret’s Earthly body will be laid to rest in Tollette Cemetery, Schaal, Arkansas. Visitation will be November 17 from 10 until 11 AM at the McAlister High School Gymnasium in Mineral Springs, AR at 130 Browning Street. Funeral services provided by Brandon’s Mortuary in Hope, AR.
