Beloved Father, Grandfather, Great & Great-Great Grandfather
Mr. Emiliano Caban, 85, of 18 Lyndale Dr., passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at Meridian Manor. He was the husband of the late Juana Soto-Caban.
Emiliano was born in Moca, Puerto Rico on April 11, 1927, son of the late Epifanio and Eularia Guzman-Caban. He was the proud father of thirteen children who knew their dad as a “Jack of all Trades". Mr. Caban was a glazer at M & N Glass in New York but loved his free time spent with his family and the occasional game of Dominoes.
Mr. Caban leaves behind an expansive family which includes his six sons, Nelson, Epi, Ricardo, Robert and Angelo Caban of Waterbury, and his son David Caban of New York; six daughters, Ramona Caban-Pardo and her husband Pastor William Pardo of Aquadilla Puerto Rico, Anna Caban of Brooklyn, New York, Mildred Caban of Aquadilla, Elizabeth Rosario of Elizabeth, New Jersey, Eva Caban of Waterbury and Monique Silva of Waterbury; a brother Gilberto Caban of Moca, Puerto Rico; a sister Juana Mendez of New York; and an Army of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Sara Gonzalez-Galarza.
Arrangements: Funeral will be held Saturday, 10:00 a.m. at Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway. Burial will follow at All Saint’s Cemetery. Calling Hours will be held Friday, from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
