Julie J. Boos-Silvernail

Julie J. Boos-Silvernail, 66, of 815 W. Park Ave., Chippewa Falls, died Friday, November 2, 2012 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Chippewa Falls surrounded by her loving family.

She was born July 17, 1946 in Chippewa Falls, the daughter of Albert and Hilma (Gilbertson) Fliehr.

On July 10, 1971, she married Henry “Bud” Boos at Holy Ghost Church in Chippewa Falls and on December 10, 1994, she married James Silvernail at Notre Dame Church in Chippewa Falls.

She owned and operated State St. Tavern and Mothers Pizza in Chippewa Falls. She was also a member of St. Charles Church.

Julie is survived by three daughters, Wendy (William) Stewart of Cadott, Holly (Todd) Wasieleski of Owatonna, Minn. and Sarah Boos of Chippewa Falls; two brothers, William (Mary) Fliehr of Apple Valley, Minn. and Brian (Dawn) Fliehr of Princeton, Minn.; three sisters, Barbara (Robert) Miley, Virginia (Jeffrey) Seckora and Mary (Mike) Campbell all of Chippewa Falls; 7 grandchildren, Erica, Nathan, Natalie, Noah, Allison, Kaitlyn and Gracie; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by both of her husbands’; and her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 6, at St. Charles Church in Chippewa Falls. The Very Rev. Ed Shuttleworth will be celebrant of the funeral Mass. Interment will be in Hope Cemetery in Chippewa Falls.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, November 5 and until 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Horan Funeral Home in Chippewa Falls. The Ladies of St. Charles will recite the rosary at 4 p.m. and there will be a Christian Vigil Service at 7 p.m. both on Monday at the funeral home.

Her grandchildren were the light of her life. Julie’s unwavering faith, even through adversity was an inspiration to all of her loved ones. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
