Helen P. (Kelly) Loring age 71 years died in her Walpole, Massachusetts home on Wednesday, October 31, 2012. Born in Winchester, Massachusetts on January 8, 1941, she was the daughter of the late James S. and Helen (Bailey) Kelly. She graduated from Medford High School with the class of 1958 and later graduated from Lemuel Shattuck Hospital with her Nursing Degree in 1962. She has been a resident of Walpole since 1963 moving from Medford.

Mrs. Loring was an LPN for 50 years. She began working as a private nurse for families in Walpole, including the Bird, Dutton, and Kendall families. She then worked for Commonwealth Oncology for 15 years. Most recently, she worked at the South Shore Hospital. In addition, she drove busses for Michael J. Connolly in both Walpole and Sharon for 5 years.

She was a Member of the Early American Society of Decorative Art. She enjoyed making Teddy Bears, quilting, and Towle Painting. However, her passion was cooking and hosting family holiday dinners. She also enjoyed decorating the house for the holidays. Beloved wife of G. Boyden "Boyd" Loring. Loving mother of Steven S. Loring of Hoboken, NJ, Kelly Ann Loring of Pawtucket, RI, and Stacy Loring Kennedy and her husband Matt of Walpole. Cherished grandmother of Kyle and Morgan Kennedy of Walpole. Sister of Kathy Quartarone of Wrentham, the late Judy Kelly, the late Joan White, and the late James Kelly.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the visiting hours on Saturday, November 3, 2012 from 2-5PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. A service will be held at 4:30PM. Interment will be private. Memorial donations may be made to: Compassionate Care Hospice 800 West Cummings Park Woburn, MA 01801.
