Lorraine Doris Coulter, 86, of Longville, Minnesota passed away Sunday, October 21, 2012 at her residence.
Lorraine was born May 19, 1926 in Wabasso, Minnesota to Carl and Minnie (Dommer) Rudenick. She grew up in the Seaforth area and graduated from Wabasso High School. Lorraine was married to John Coulter on April 27, 1946 and they lived in Minneapolis until John’s retirement in 1986. They then moved up north to their lake home near Longville where they have enjoyed their retirement years.
Lorraine enjoyed sewing, crocheting, fishing, playing Keno and cards. She also enjoyed traveling and spending winters in Laughlin, Nevada. She will be remembered for her determination and strength of character, and as a caring wife, mother, and grandmother.
Lorraine is survived by her husband of 66 years, John Coulter, children; Gerald (Lora), Patricia, Janet, Larry (Linda), Jeffrey (Lisa), 4 grandchildren; Michelle, Kristine, Kyle, Zachary, son-in-law David, brother Norman (Elaine), sisters Darlene and Shirley (Roland), and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Barbara, infant son Dennis, brothers; Lawrence, LeRoy, Russell, and sister Bernice.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at 3:00 pm at the Dennis Funeral Home in Longville with Rev. Robert Dennis officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
