Funeral service for Mary Louise Baltzegar, age 78, of New Smyrna Beach, who died Friday, October 19, 2012 at Hospice of Volusia/Flagler Edgewater Care Center will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 23, graveside, at Sea Pines Memorial Gardens, Edgewater, with Chaplain Mark Rath officiating. Friends may call from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.

Born in Orangeburg, SC, Mary came to this area in 1957 from her birthplace. She enjoyed crafts, music, singing and decorating for the holidays.

Mary is survived by one son, David Baltzegar and his wife Carolan of New Smyrna Beach; one daughter Elizabeth Nieman and her husband Jerry of Lexington, VA; 8 grandchildren; Jacob and Jared Baltzegar of Edgewater, Laura Stanley of Palm Coast, Lacie Mello of Port Orange, Joseph Nieman of Buena Vista, VA, Jesse Nieman of Millboro, VA, Jennifer Hopkins of Buena Vista, VA and Christina Lewellen of Apopka, and 12 great-great grandchildren.
