Marcus Lee Lockwood II

Brother Marcus Lockwood II was born on August 26, 1982 in Quincy, Florida to Marcus Lockwood I and Dianne Dudley Lockwood. Marcus was the youngest of two siblings.

He was educated in the public schools of Quincy, Florida, graduating from James A. Shanks High School in 2000. Marcus accepted Christ as his personal savior at an early age. He loved the Lord unconditionally, served him as a lifelong member of St. James AME Church, where he actively served in the Young People’s Department and sang in the Junior Choir. Marcus was loved by his family, many friends, and acquaintances. He will be long remembered for his sense of humor and his bold laughter. Through his most difficult times his biggest strength was the love and support he received from his family and they from him. He will be truly missed.

He leaves to cherish his fond and loving memories: his Parents: Marcus I and Dianne Dudley Lockwood; Daughter, MarQuia Leeyoni Lockwood; Sister, Nina Simone Farmer; Nephew, Kenroy Anthony Harris II; Niece, Kaylah Simone Harris; Paternal Grandfather, Henderson Lockwood; Paternal Grandmother, Mildred Caldwell; Uncles: Raymond Lanier, Morris Parmer, Keith Caldwell (Equilla), Charles Lockwood and Wallace Henry, all of Quincy, Florida, Gerald Lanier (Bobbi) of Peoria, Illinois, Henry Lanier (Rosalyn) Minneapolis, Minnesota, Dexter Lockwood (Ronessa) of Tallahassee, Florida, and Henry Croomes (Terri) of Texas; Aunts: Mary L.
