Deborah J. Brann

SOUTH GLENS FALLS --- Deborah J. Brann, 60, passed away Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012. She was born Feb. 29, 1952 in Dover, NJ to Samuel B. and Shirley M. (Pryor) Wood. She graduated from South Glens Falls High School in 1970. Deb married Frank A. Brann of Hudson Falls. She worked as an aide at BOCES in Hudson Falls helping disabled students. Deb was very sports oriented. She took walks several times a day, rode her bike, and played volleyball, etc. Deb was predeceased by her father, Samuel B. Wood, and her son, Shane M. Brann. In addition to her mother, Shirley M. (Pryor) Wood, survivors include her son, Christopher T. (Brianna) Brann of Schodack, NY, and daughter, Ashley M. (Geoff) Hill of Whitehall, NY; sister, Wendy K. Wood of Dahlonega, GA; three grandchildren, Kelsy M. Brann, Seth A. Brann, and Madison S. Hill; two nieces, Ariel (Nigel) Looney, and Lauren (Nate) Dale; nephew, Cody Daughtery; and great-nephew, Noah Looney. Friends may call upon the family Friday, Sept. 21, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Maynard D. Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Tony Childs, Pastor of St. Michael’s Catholic Church, officiating. Burial will then follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, South Glens Falls. A gathering to celebrate Deb’s life will follow at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 80 Saratoga Ave., South Glens Falls. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to the Epilepsy Foundation 3 Washington Square, Albany, NY, 12205-5523 or the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Attn: Donor Services, P. O.
