Matthew Thomas Horn of Waveland passed away Friday morning. He was 41.
Matt was a 1989 graduate of North Montgomery High School. He was a supervisor at International Paper, having been there sixteen years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding his motorcycle and being with his family and grandkids. He was a member of Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.).
Born June 3, 1971 in Lafayette, he was the son of Thomas James Horn and Emily Rose Kelsey Horn. He married Georgina Carlson Horn June 7, 2000 in Crawfordsville. She survives.
Additional survivors include his parents, daughters, Breanna Horn of West Point, Chasity Horn of Irvine, California, son, Dustin Auge of McMillan, Michigan, daughters, Jessica (Kyle) Vanscoyoc of Crawfordsville, Jordan (Victor) Golladay of Crawfordsville, son, Matthew Dickerson of Crawfordsville and daughter, Sarah, at home. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Corbin, Olivia and Kaydince, with one more expected soon, two brothers, Sam (Jackie) Horn and T.J. Horn and maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Kelsey as well as several aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by two grandfathers, one grandmother, father-in-law, brother-in-law, and sister-in-law.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM Monday at Burkhart Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at the funeral home Tuesday at 10 AM led by Brother Don Perry. Burial will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Darlington.
His family believes that Matthew would encourage everyone to dress casually while attending the visitation and funeral.
