Beloved Aunt

Miss Anna Rose Albino, 87, of Abbott Terrace Health Center, formerly a life long resident of 40 North Walnut Street, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 9, 2012 at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Anna was born in Waterbury on October 7, 1924, daughter of the late Nicola and Antoinette (Vallillo) Albino. She was a graduate of Slocum Grammar School and Waterbury Catholic High School. She worked for the Benrus Watch Company for many years and retired from North American Phillips Company (Airpax) in 1994. She was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and the UCONN Women’s Basketball team. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and spending Sunday dinner with her family. She was a communicant of St. Lucy’s Church.

Anna leaves many loving nieces, nephews, grand and great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by six brothers, Pasquale, Nicholas Jr., Guerino, Armand, Rocco and Anthony Albino, Jr. and one sister, Nancy Carmella Ciarleglio.

Arrangements: Funeral will be held Thursday, 9:00 a.m. at Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway to St. Lucy’s Church for a Mass at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
