Nancy Hardesty Linn, age 81, of New Smyrna Beach, died Sunday, September 9, at Bert Fish Medical Center, New Smyrna Beach. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Mrs. Linn came to this area in 1989 from Chicago, Illinois.

A retired health care administrator, Mrs. Lynn attended Westminster By-The-Sea Presbyterian Church in Daytona Beach; was active with the Little Theatre of New Smyrna Beach, where she chaired the scholarship committee; and was a member of the Embroiders’ Guild of America. She also volunteered for the New Smyrna Beach Police Department.

Survivors include her husband, Harold; a son, Steve of Everett, Washington; two daughters, Julia H. Linn of Daytona Beach and Sarah A. Collett of Orlando; and three grandchildren.

A memorial service to celebrate Mrs. Linn’s life will be 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 12 at the Settle-Wilder New Smyrna Beach Chapel, with the Reverend Beverly Richardson officiating.
