Edith Kinney Barnett, 53, of Moncks Corner, SC, died Friday evening in a North Charleston hospital.

Her funeral will be 1:00 PM Tuesday afternoon, September 11, 2012, in the CHAPEL OF DIAL-MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, MONCKS CORNER. Interment will follow in Plantation Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:30 AM until the hour of service.

Mrs. Barnett was born January 17, 1959, in Charleston, SC, a daughter of Edward Kinney and Ellen Brown Kinney Gingill. She was a member of the Carnes Cross Roads Church of God, and she enjoyed doing arts and crafts, as well as anything else, involving her grandchildren.

Surviving are, her husband, Curtis W. Barnett, Jr.; a daughter, Tina L. Brown of Moncks Corner; two sisters, Elaine Winn of Moncks Corner and Cindy Giets of North Augusta; two brothers, Clay Kinney and Edward Kinney both of Moncks Corner; and three grandchildren, Myranda Gunter, Savanah Brown, and William M. Brown, Jr.
