Mary Rose Goff of Crawfordsville passed away Monday afternoon at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She was 83.
Born May 26, 1929 she was the daughter of Arthur D. and Clovia Fern Hamilton. She married Amos C. Goff on September 24, 1953 at Crawfordsville. He passed away April 23, 1981.
Mary Rose retired from Indiana Bell where she was also a member of Bell Pioneers. She was very involved with Eastern Star serving as Past Worthy Matron and was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary.
Surviving family members include her son Gary Goff of Crawfordsville; grandchildren Carissa Goff of Indianapolis, Samantha Goff of Brownsburg, Adam Goff of Brownsburg, Dallas Jones of Nashville, Tennessee and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Cheryl Jones, and ten siblings.
Funeral services will be 11:00AM Friday at Burkhart Funeral Home, Crawfordsville, with Rev. Mike Whitacre officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery North.
