Virginia Catherine Horsman, a resident of Okla City, was born September 22, 1918 in Soldier, Kansas to William L. and Carrie (Berridge) Fulton. She passed away Monday September 3, 2012 at Okla. City, Oklahoma at the age of 93 years 11 months and 11 days. Virginia grew up in Kansas before moving to Okla. City, where she attended grade school. The familly moved to Sulphur when she was a freshman and she graduated from Sulphur High School. After graduation, she attended Oklahoma College for Women in Chickasha. She and Leo B. Horsman were married on Sept. 29, 1939 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on Dec. 18, 1998. Virginia was a grand marshall in the Eastern Star and a member of First Christian Church in Sulphur. She was also preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers: J.T. Fulton & Judge W.R. "Bill" Fulton; and a grandson Matthew Craig Horsman.
Survived by her daughter: Cathy McLaughlin of Moore, Ok. son & daughter-in-law: Craig and Jeana Horsman of Tulsa, Ok. 7 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild.
Services 2:00PM Saturday September 8, 2012 at First Christian Church in Sulphur with Re. Tim Kowalski oficiating. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery.
Grandsons will serve as Pallbearers.
