Carolyn Frances Lewis

Carolyn Lewis, age 82 of Middletown, Ohio, formerly of Morrow Ohio, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 2. She was born July 4, 1930 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She is survived by one son, Bruce Lewis (Susan) of Loveland, one daughter, Beverly Williams (Kenneth) of Lebanon, one sister, Jean Harper of Morrow, five grandchildren, Jarrod and Michael Williams and Zachary, Erin and Joshua Lewis, and five great grandchildren, Jacob, Grace, Ella, Anna and Cooper Williams. She was preceded by her husband, Bruce M. Lewis in March of this year, as well as one brother, Charles Leaf, and two sisters, Garnett Boothby and Louise Hargis.

Throughout her life Carolyn was involved in many community organizations including being a member of the Olive Branch Methodist Church, Eastern Star, Sunday School teacher, 4-H Leader in Warren County, member of the Liberty Bells Chorus, and a Washington Township trustee. Of particular importance, she was a member of the Mother’s Club for 60 years, a group of lifelong friends from the Morrow area. Carolyn was a loving wife and mother, a creative seamstress, and had a beautiful singing voice. Her grandchildren will always remember special songs she would sing to them. Carolyn enjoyed travel with her husband, many different family activities, and wintering in Ruskin Florida with her many friends.

A memorial service will be held Friday, September 7th, 5:00 PM, at the Lebanon United Methodist Church, 122 E. Silver St., Lebanon. Visitation will begin at 4:00 pm. Arrangements by Vale-Hoskins Funeral Home, Morrow with online condolences available at www.hoskinsfh.com.
