89, of Bothell passed away at Evergreen Hospice Center in Kirkland, WA on August 31, 2012. Virginia was born to Irma and Gardner Trousdale in Fargo, ND on March 24, 1923. She went to high school at Sacred Heart Academy in Fargo. She was an enthusiastic member of the school choir and sang alto. In 1944 she married Navy Radioman Robert Beringer on St. Simons Island, GA. Robert was hired by the Boeing Co. and the couple and two children arrived in Seattle in the early 50's. They setup household in a rented house in the Ballard area and later made a permanent residence in the Seattle Greenwood area. Virginia was a lifelong homemaker and raised five children. Her passions were music, gardening and baking but her greatest love was her children. Virginia is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her two sisters Marjorie and Evelyn. Virginia is survived by her brother Richard of Honolulu, her five children Katherine (Parkhurst), Paul, Stephen, Mark and Anne (Davis) and many grand and great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Evergreen Hospice Center of Kirkland. A memorial service will be held at Holyrood Cemetery on Thursday, September 6th at 1:00PM.
