Emma Randolph

Emma L. Savage Randolph entered the church triumphant on August 24. 2012 at Taylor Hospice House in Ridley Park. She was born in Selma Alabama and raised in Birmingham Alabama and Media Pa. where she graduated from Media High School.

A homemaker and an Avon Representative, Mrs. Randolph was the wife of the late Rev. Frederick S. Randolph Sr. and the mother of the late Frederick S. Randolph Jr. She was a member of Woodlyn Baptist Church in Woodlyn and a member of the Ministers’ Wives Association.

Emma was former first lady of Providence Baptist Church and Unity Baptist Church both in Chester and First African Baptist of Darby Township in Sharon Hill.

Mrs. Randolph was an avid bowler belonging to many leagues in Delaware County. She was known for her sweet potato pies, homemade ice cream, and root beer.

She leaves to cherish her memory: one son – Luther Randolph (Sylvia) Two daughters - E’lise Hunt ( Melvin) Naomi Randolph Four grandchildren - Michael Randolph, Deborah Hunt, Donna Hunt, and Corree Cuff. Three great grandchildren. Many other relatives and friends

Service: Saturday September 1. 2012 10:00 am at White Rock Christian Church 308 W. 3rd St. Chester Viewing: 8:00 am – 10:00 am at the church.
