Mrs. Polly Harmon, 65, of 2320 Eleanor St., Newberry, died Saturday at Newberry County Memorial Hospital. Born in Newberry, she was a daughter of the late Mr. Norris Burton and the late Mrs. Clorine Williams Burton. She was a member of House of Prayer Church and was a member of Women’s Home Aid Society Lodge #38. She was retired from Shakespeare Company.
Those who celebrate her life and cherish precious and loving memories include her three sons: Gregory Harmon (Octavia) of Newberry, Sherman Harmon and Fredrick Harmon of the home; two sisters, Mrs. Betty Suber (Sam) of Newberry and Mrs. Thomasina Suber of Woonsocket, R.I.; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a grandson reared in the home, Marticus Harmon; and a devoted cousin, Darnell Hare and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Two brothers, Thomas and David Burton predeceased her.
