Audrey LaVern Tinsley, 89 of Centralia passed away August 14, 2012 at Doctor’s Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Salem.
Mrs. Tinsley was born April 17, 1923 in Centralia, daughter of Louis Beyerbach and Opal (Daughtry) Beyerbach. She married Lester Tinsley on January 20. 1952 and he preceded her in death on July 4, 2010.
She is survived by a son, Kenneth Hawkins and wife Mary of Centralia; two daughters: Ann Tate and the late Charles “Bud” Tate of Centralia and Patricia Hill and husband Jack of Junction City; eleven grandchildren: Julia Clark and husband Loren, Susan Spinner and husband Steve, Barbara Wimberly and husband Tony, Lori Thompson, “Mimi” Hawkins and special friend Jamey, obert Hawkins and wife Sandra, Michael Hawkins and wife Stephanie, Dearl Hawkins and wife Michelle, James Hawkins and wife Tami, Todd Webb and wife Lori, Nicole Nolte and husband Nicholas; 36 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law: Paula Boswell, several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother: John Nelson Boswell and a sister: Lillian Skillman. Mrs. Tinsley was a homemaker. She enjoyed going to Garage Sales, her flowers and taking trips to Wal-Mart. She liked to collect Antiques. Most of all she loved spending time with family and her grandkids.
Funeral Services for Audrey Tinsley will be held Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia with Mike Sutherland speaking. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Centralia. Friends may call from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Friday evening at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation and will be received at Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.
