Homegoing celebration for Mr. Graddy (Cigar) Allen of Tampa, who passed away Monday, July 30, 2012, will be held Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the St. John Progressive Missionary Baptist Church, 2504 E. Chipco Street, Tampa, Florida 33605 with the Pastor, Reverend Dr. Bartholomew Banks, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, Tampa, FL.
Mr. Allen was born in Tampa, Florida on July 28, 1959. He was educated in the public Schools of Hillsborough County and was a Baptist. “Cigar” as he was affectionately called, was a Dietary Aide at Tampa General Hospital. He was preceded in death by: 1 sister, Theresa Renee Allen-Knight; grandparents, Holly Lott, Mary Lott, James Allen, Sr. and Sadie Allen; 10 uncles and 5 aunts.

His visitation will be held Friday 5:00 – 9:00 P.M. and the family will receive friends from 8:00 – 9:00 P.M. at the Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, FL.
