Funeral services for the late Margarie Albert will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at St. Matthew M.B. Church. She will lie in state from 11:00 to 12:00 follow by the funeral service. Pastor, Tommy Stevenson Officiating.

Visitation will be held at Stephens Funeral Home on Friday, August 10, 2012 from 2:00-6:00 p.m.
Mrs. Margarie was born on July 18, 1924 to the late Maebelle Johnson and Welton Davis in Oneida, Arkansas.

She departed this life July 31, 2012 at 7:41 p.m. in the home of her daughter in Memphis, Tennessee. She was united in Holy matrimony to Mr. Joseph Albert Sr. on December 25, 1943. To this union eight children were born.

She accepted Christ at an early age and after marriage she became a member of the St. Matthew M.B. Church where she was a faithful member and served on the Usher board until her health failed.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories: Four daughters, Mrs. Dora Mayes, Mrs. Betty (Jimmy) Hibbler, Ms. Mary Albert, and Mrs. Brenda (Martin) Carruth all of Memphis TN; Four sons Mr. Joseph Albert Jr., and Johnny (Nancy) Albert both of Marvell, AR.; Mr. Ellis (Joyce) Albert of Memphis, TN; and Mr. James (Fannie) Albert of Dallas TX; Three sisters Lillie Mae Coley of Diximore, IL, Geraldine (Jessie) Brimely Menomone Falls, WI, Lynetta Davis of Texas City, TX; Five brothers Solomon Davis of Clearwater, FL, Welton (Inez)Davis Jr., and Lawrence (Lelia) Davis of Lexa, AR; Ulyseses (Mary) Davis and Wardell both of Biloxi, MS. Two sister-in Laws, Texanna Albert of Marvell, AR; and Myrtle Scott of Flint, MI. Three sisters and three brothers preceded her in death. She also leaves nineteen grandchildren, Thirty one great grandchildren, and five great, great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Memorials may be sent to the Alzheimers Association.
