James Lee Wait, 68, died in Mission Viejo, CA, on July 28, 2012. He was born December 18, 1943, in Sacramento, CA. He grew up on the family ranch near Plymouth, CA. He attended Amador High School and graduated from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo in 1966. He served in the US Army from 1967 to 1969 in Giessen Germany. He worked for J. I. Case Tractor Company for 18 years and owned Western Representative from 1978 until 2004. His latest business interests took him to Vietnam where he has lived for the past 12 years. He loved a good joke and working hard. He never met a stranger and was very young at heart. His humor could light up a room, and his sharp mind for business rewarded him with success. He enjoyed being with family and was a great father. He will be missed by many and always loved. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Elden Wait, and his mother, Goula Myrtle Wann Wait. He is survived by his wife, Truyen Thi Ngoc Trinh and daughter Juliette Truyen Wait. In addition, he is also survived by his first wife Barbara Wait and their children Steven James Wait (Sara), Christopher Raymond Wait, Christina Wait Magana, Angela Wait Holstrom (Harry), and their grandchildren Katie and Ryan Wait, Rosa and Misael Magana Wait, Hannah, Kyle, and Max Holstrom. He also is survived by his two brothers, Elden and Thomas Wait. Services will be grave side at the Plymouth Cemetery on Sunday August 5th at 2 pm with a reception at the Spur Building at the Amador County Fair Grounds on Sunday August 5th at 3 pm.
