Ronald Jay Wagner, age 57, of New Smyrna Beach, died Saturday, July 21 at home. Born in Akron, Ohio, Ron came to this area in 2011 from Orlando, where he worked selling, repairing, and restoring Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
In addition to his interest in Harley-Davidsons, Ron was an avid NASCAR (especially Dale Earnhart) and Miami Dolphins fan. A handyman's handyman, he was known as a guy who could fix anything.
Survivors include his mother, Dee Donnelly of New Smyrna Beach; a daughter, Holly Wagner of Apopka; a sister, Terri Capraun of Siler City, North Carolina; and a grandson, Adrian Hernandez of Apopka.
A memorial service will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday, July 28 at the First United Methodist Church of New Smyrna Beach, with Pastor Bob Hahn officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 3:00 p.m. until service time.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the First United Methodist Church, 310 Douglas Street, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168.
