Betty Rose Hatcher Mills age 78 passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2012. Services will be held at 10AM Saturday, July 21, at the Voice of Truth Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Mama Rose was a native and life long resident of Wilkinson County. She was a former secretary with Penn Chevrolet and the Wilkinson County Board of Education. She was a founding member of the Voice of Truth Church. She was preceded in death by her parents George and Birdie Bell Hatcher. She was a devoted wife and mother who loved fishing, working outdoors, playing bridge and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years Allen Mills of Toomsboro, three sons, , Frederick Mills (Gail) of Irwinton, Phil Mills (Christy) of Ivey, and Keith Mills (Lynn) of Irwinton, a daughter Paula Warnock (Glen) of Montrose, a sister Kay Norton (Gordon) of St. Petersburg, FL, grandchildren: Allen Mills, Kristin Nixon (Matt), Justin Mills (Maggie), Josh Mills, Derek Mills, (Lindsey), Lindsey Attaway (Matt), Cannon Warnock (Katelin), Caleb Warnock, Cuyler Warnock and Cleve Warnock, 5 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6PM until 8PM at Moores Funeral Home.
