Jesus Rivera, age 51 of Waller, passed away on July 6, 2012. He is preceded in death by his father, Luis Rivera; and is survived by his mother, Sofia Rivera; brothers, Juan C. Rivera and wife Noyol, Luis G. Rivera, Jr., Reymundo Rivera and wife Estelle; sisters, Patricia Rivera Hoelker and husband Jim, Linda Sue Dugger and husband Bill, Elizabeth Horican and husband Matthew and Veronica Mullenix and husband Michael as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 12, 2012 from 5 to 8pm with Rosary at 7pm at Canon Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Friday, July 13, 2012 at 10am at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church in Hempstead. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made in Jesse's name to the St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church building fund; 800 FM 1488, Hempstead, TX 77445.
