(nee Lyons), a long time resident of Haddon Heights, NJ passed away at home, surrounded by her loving family on July 7, 2012, at the age of 86. Born in Atlantic City, she spent her early years in Ocean City and maintained a lifelong love of the Jersey shore. She graduated from Gloucester High School and was later employed by the IRS, where she met Walt, her husband of 55 years. She subsequently worked at HUD. Peg was a loving and devoted homemaker whose greatest joy in life was her family and her home.

Beloved wife of the late Walter W. Cook. Cherished mother of Barbara (Charles) Price of Wenonah, NJ, Jeffrey (Belinda) Cook of Bath, PA and Leslie (Jay) Sweeney of Chatham, NJ. Also survived by five grandchildren: Tracy (Keith), Kevin, Elizabeth, Michael and Allison; two great grandchildren, Kyle and Abbey; her sister, Lura Denham and her dedicated caretaker, Susie.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather and celebrate the life of Margaret Cook on Wednesday 7 to 9 PM and Thursday 10 to 11 AM at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, 250 White Horse Pike, Audubon, NJ. Service will follow Thursday 11 AM. Interment Arlington Cemetery, Pennsauken, NJ.
