Newmarket- Kathleen A. Shove, 62, of Mt. Pleasant Street, died July 4, 2012 at Hyder Family Hospice House, Dover.

Born May 20, 1950 in Exeter, she was the daughter of Richard A. and Catherine (Clough) Norton and was a lifelong resident of Newmarket.

She worked as a cashier at Wal-Mart in Portsmouth for twelve years.

Kathy was a member of the Robert G. Durgin American Legion Auxiliary Unit 67 in Newmarket and she was a die hard Red Sox fan.

Kathy is survived by her husband of 40 years, Ronald E. Shove of Newmarket; 2 children, Julie M. Edwards and her three children, Kaitlyn, Jade, and Joshua, and Scott M. Shove all of Newmarket; a sister, Joyce Gagne and her husband Bernard of Newmarket; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Richard H. Norton Jr., James Norton, and Linda M. Sullivan.

A Memorial Visitation will be held at the Kent & Pelczar Funeral Home, 77 Exeter Street, Newmarket, on Monday, July 9th from 6-8 p.m. with an Auxiliary Service to be held at 7 p.m.

Private burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Newmarket.

Rather than flowers memorials may be made to the funeral home, to assist the family with expenses.
