Blondell Glasgow

Mrs. Blondell Glasgow, 70, formerly of 1909 Vincent St., Newberry died Friday at White Oak Manor Nursing Home.

Born in Newberry County, she was the daughter of the late Mr. Nathaniel Ellison and the late Mrs. Christine Long Ellison. She as a member of New Enoree Baptist Church where she served as a deaconess and served on The Living Hope food pantry and was a member of the Women’s Home Aid Society Lodge No. 38.

Surviving are one daughter Stephanie Duncan of Columbia; two grandsons, Trey Duncan and Joseph Duncan of Columbia; one sister, Mrs. Deborah Gallman of Newberry; two brothers, Percey Ellison of Suitland, Md. and David Glasgow of Newberry; a son-in-law, Benjamin Duncan of Columbia; brother-in-law Luther Gallman Jr. of Prosperity, sister-in-law, Mrs. Jean Ellison of Suitland, Md.; mother-in-law, Mrs. Edith Glasgow of Newberry; additional sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; nieces, nephews, cousins and devoted friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at New Enoree Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home.
