Earl Lee Bell, age 88, of Beckley, WV, passed away on Monday, July 2, 2012, at the Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital.
Born on December 19, 1923, in Ohio, he was the son of the late Lee Bell and Addie Spears Bell.
Mr. Bell was a manager of the A&P Supermarket in Mullens, and also as a manager of the Carolina Supermarket at Crab Orchard, WV.
Mr. Bell was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII, and had lived in Beckley since 1972. He enjoyed hunting in his younger years.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a precious little daughter Merry Lynn “Lovie” Bell, by brothers, Clarence, Howard, and Arthur Bell, and by a sister Betty Soualinne.
Those survivors left to cherish his memory include his wife of 50 years, Ruth Reedy Bell.
Two sisters, Jean and Eloise, both of Ohio.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley on Thursday, July 5, 2012, at 3:30 p.m. with Pastor John Jordan officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Beckley. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the services. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
