Funeral services for Charlie Frizzell age 78 of Shelbyville will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, June 30, 2012 in the chapel of Doak-Howell Funeral Home with Mark Pierce officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Mr. Charlie passed Wednesday morning, June 27, 2012 at Harton Regional Medical Center in Tullahoma after an extended illness.

Visitation will be held from 5 until 8:00 pm Friday evening at the funeral home.

A native of Bedford County, he was the son of the late Henry Alton Frizzell & Anna Mae Reynolds Frizzell and was preceded by sisters, Frances Porch & Hazel Buchanan and brother Clyde Frizzell. Mr. Charlie spent many years working at the old Eaton Corp. and hauled dirt and gravel to all corners of this county. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a member of the Horse Mountain Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Frances Marie McGee Frizzell of Shelbyville, brother Connell Frizzell of Fairfield Community & sister Marjorie Pauline Horton of Shelbyville and several nieces & nephews.
