Debora Lynn Goings, age 53, of Springfield, MO, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2012 at her residence. She was born September 30, 1958, in Springfield, MO, to General and Wanda (Blazor) Goings. She loved going to garage sales, shopping at Wal-Mart, thrift stores and flea markets and loved to read Danielle Steel novels. She loved going to Ziggie’s, and George’s Steak House, and Andy’s ice cream, eating candy, and drinking Diet Mt. Dew. She loved her grandchildren and her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother. She is survived by her father General Goings; two sisters , Lynette Smiles and LaDena Faye Berttrand; a son Matthew Goings; two grandsons and a granddaughter, and a niece Jennifer Goings; six nephews, Doug Smiles, Paul Smiles, Andre Smiles, Nicholas Blakely, Nolan Blakely, Stephen Goings; and several great-nieces and nephews and friends.. Funeral services will be held at 1: 00 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, Springfield, MO. Burial will be held in Marshfield City Cemetery.
