Clarence H. Davidson, age 74 years, of Tigerton passed away Thursday, June 21, 2012 at Maple Lane Health & Rehabilitation Center, Shawano.
Clarence Harley Davidson was born December 13, 1937 in Iola to Albert and Elsie (Lashua) Davidson. He attended Tigerton schools and was a lifelong resident of the area. On April 20, 1961 Clarence was united in marriage to Patricia R. Williams in Iron Mountain, MI. The couple made their home in Tigerton and in his early years he drove truck for Tigerton Dray Line for some time. Clarence worked at FWD Corporation in Clintonville as an assembler for 38 years, retiring in 2003. He enjoyed deer hunting, musky fishing, and spending time with family & friends.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Pat, and four children; Cindy (Jim) Polzin of Marion, Kathy (Dave) Boyd of Lindenhurst, IL, Christi (Ted) Tokarski of Tigerton, and Cal (Mariellen) Davidson of Randolph, MA. There are six grandchildren; Melissa (Harry) Ahlers, Michelle (fiancé Ben) Polzin, David (Kari) Ester, Desiree Ester, Douglas Boyd, and Angelica Boyd. There is one great granddaughter, Brooklynn Ahlers, and many other relatives and friends. Clarence is further survived by two brothers, Gene (Nancy) Davidson of Lady Lake, FL, and Harold (Betty) Davidson of Grand Rapids, MI, a sister, Lorraine Davidson of Tigerton, many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Floyd.
The family wishes to especially thank all the nurses and staff at Maple Lane Health & Rehabilitation Center for the excellent care provided to Clarence.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 30th at 12 noon at the Beil-Didier Funeral Home, Tigerton. Rev. Clifford Kessen and Deacon Patrick Berg will officiate. Inurnment will be at Riverside Cemetery in Iola. Friends may call on Saturday from 9:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home.
