Nora Rita Aiello passed away peacefully on June 5, 2012 at the age of 92. Nora was born to Jack and Mary Trezza. She was the last survivor of her family of 3 brothers and 5 sisters. She was born on June 28, 1919 in Pittsburg, attended Pittsburg schools and resided in Pittsburg her entire life. Nora married Sergeant Joseph P. Aiello of the Pittsburg Police Department in 1936. They were married 59 years before his passing in 1995. When she was first married she worked as a waitress for Angelo’s Soda Fountain. Most of her years were spent as a homemaker. She enjoyed working in her yard, many trips to Reno, her daily soap operas, political talk shows and playing cards with the Orlando family. She also enjoyed all family gatherings and events with the Ostertag family and the many great family gatherings with the Trezza and Aiello families. She will be missed for her great outlook on life and her wonderful words of wisdom. She is survived by her brother- in-law Robert Renzenbrink, sister-in-laws Angelina Trezza, Nita Esposito, Sarah Enea, Rose Aiello, her devoted niece and god child Barbara Ostertag and many loving nieces, nephews and god children. Friends and family are invited to the visitation on Monday, June 11, 2012 at 11:00am with a funeral service at 12:00pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Committal services following at Holy Cross Cemetery, Antioch. Contributions can be made the Michael Becker Scholarship Foundation or any charity of your choice.
