Mitsue Ackley age 82 of Clovis, NM formerly of Tokyo, Japan passed away Wednesday June 13, 2012 at her home in Clovis. A wake will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Sunday, June 17, 2012 at Muffley Funeral Home.
Mitsue was born June 10, 1930 to Kotaro and Kuma Takada in Tokyo, Japan. She married Donovan Dean Ackley July 20, 1956 in Tokyo Japan and they came to Cannon AFB in 1966. She loved cooking eggrolls and fried rice. Mitsue enjoyed crocheting blankets.
Survivors include her daughter, Joan Ackley (Pheng Phathaphone) of Clovis, NM; three granddaughters, Malaysone Ackley of Clovis, NM, Phonvanh Phathaphone (Joseph Regulus) of Clovis, NM, Phensavanh (Chris) Pikalek of Fort Sambell, KY; grandson, Kyle Ackley of Clovis, NM; and three granddaughters, Ayanna Manikham, Jaylani Evans, and Imah Regulus. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
