John F. Logan:
Of Stevens Point, died early Friday morning, June 8, 2012 at Ministry-St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield. Age 87, John was born January 8, 1925 in Chicago, IL.
He was the son of the late Ignatz And Mary (Zdanowich) Logan.
John was a World War II veteran, serving in Germany with the United States Army from 1945-1947.
His marriage to Edith Morris took place on July 15, 1944 at the Immaculate Catholic Church in Butternut, WI. His wife, Edith, survives.
John worked for various lumber companies in Park Falls and Milwaukee, and also worked at a crane manufacturer as a welder, building over head cranes.
Survivors include his wife: Edith of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; one son: Robert (Darlene) Logan of West Allis, WI.
Two daughters: Mary Ann Wunder of West Allis, WI, and Susan May Granac of Wausau, WI,
Seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
One brother: Walter T. Logan of Minnesota, and one sister: Olga Gurin of Chicago Heights, IL.
He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Funeral Services will be 10:30 AM Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at the Pisarski Community Funeral Home, 2911 Plover Rd., Plover. Family and friends may call from 9:30 AM until the time for services.
