Eldred E. “Doc” Sutton, age 92, Logansport, passed away at 2:35 p.m. Sunday, June 10, 2012, in Miller’s Merry Manor.

Born October 15, 1919, in Ellsworth, Illinois, he was the son of Orris and Grace Frankeburger Sutton.

He was married on August 8, 1953, to Lucille A. Ihle, who preceded in death November 26, 2002.

“Doc” was a trucker all his life, starting in his late teens driving for Coca Cola in Bloomington, IL, later for Sawyer Biscuit Co., Chicago, and retiring from the Sears Roebuck truck line. He enjoyed many years of golf and after retiring his golf clubs, he enjoyed repairing EZGo golf carts and chargers. Doc will be missed by his family and his many friends.

Surviving are daughters, Marjie (Greg) Sieck, Cumming, Iowa, and June (Stan) Adsit, Indianapolis; grandchildren, Amy (JP) Mathews, Brownsburg, Ind., and Ben Sieck, Iowa; great grandchildren, Tyler Mathews and Ava Mathews.

Two sisters preceded in death.

Kroeger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. There will be no service, as Doc requested.
