Bobby Lewis “Bob” Thomas, 70, died Saturday, June 9, 2012, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born April 30, 1942, in Itawamba County to the late Lunceford and Mizie Cromeans Thomas. He was a truck driver and construction worker during his working years and was a Baptist in belief. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and being around his family. He loved his dog, Jai Jai.
Services will be at 3 p. m. Monday, June 11, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Tommy Moore officiating. Burial will be in the Sandy Springs Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Linda; one son, Brad Thomas (Brenda) of Plantersville; one brother, Bill Thomas (Dorothy) of Marietta; one sister, Sue Johnson (R.C.) of Fulton; one grandson, James Thomas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Alma Johnson; and five brothers, Hollis Thomas, Buck Thomas, Guy Thomas, Jim Thomas, and John Thomas.
Pallbearers will be Donny Painter, Danny Barton, Leon Hayes, Joey Thomas, Richard Johnson, Danny Johnson, Wade Thomas, Terry Bruff, and Freddy Johnson.
Visitation will continue until service time today at the funeral home.
