Violet Fern Andrews, age 89, of Springfield, MO, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at Mercy Hospital. She was born September 12, 1922, in Omaha, NE, to Jesse and Grace (Augustine) Silvers. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Andrews and her parents,Jesse and Grace Silvers. She is survived by three children, Judy and Damon Randles of Springfield, MO, Lester and Glena Andrews Nampa, ID, and Cathy and Ed Peters, Madison, AL; 5 grandchildren, Stephanie, Lee, John, Cliff, and AleAnn; several great-grandchildren; and a host of friends and family. Graveside services were held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, June 1, 2012, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Springfield, MO with Pastor Cliff Day officiating.
