Gregory died suddenly on May 31, 2012, in Westmont, NJ at the age of 65. He had recently celebrated his 40th anniversary with his dear wife, J. Kandy Lippincott. Adoring father of Heather Lippincott Fowler (Tom) of Haddon Twp., NJ and Tracy Lippincott of San Francisco, CA, and proud grandfather of Jack and Henry Fowler. He is also survived by three sisters: Joanna, Jeanie and Janet; a brother, Procter (Joan); parents-in-law, Leonard and Jane Keenan; loving sisters and brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

Greg was born on November 21, 1946, the 3rd of Joseph and Eleanor's 5 children. As a child, he attended Quaker meeting with the family and retained a deep connection with that community all his life. He attended in both Moorestown and Mt. Laurel, and volunteered his time for everything from peach slicing to bookkeeping.

Greg attended Moorestown Friends School through 10th grade, followed by Lenape High School and the Oakwood School, and finally chose to leave school to work. He enjoyed buying and fixing old cars and worked various odd jobs before getting his GED. Through Stockton College, he attended a Marine Sciences Consortium at Cape May Point, where he met an art student named Kandy Keenan. The fell in love there by the sea and soon said the vows which would endure for 40 years.

Together they joined the Peace Corps shortly after their wedding in 1972 and were stationed in the South Pacific on a tiny island in the Truk district of Micronesia. They later traveled to Japan and Korea and bicycled 650 miles of CA coastline. With his siblings, Greg visited Oregon, snorkeled Cancun and hiked the Red Rocks of Sedona.

Greg spent over a decade in fine carpentry before shifting to computer programming for QVC and then real estate with Prudential. He entered retirement last year with a spring in his step. The newly free hours were spent with his grandsons, at the woodturning lathe, on his bicycle and defending -- through EQAT and Called to Action -- the earth he so dearly loved.

Relatives and friends are invited to join for a memorial service for Greg on Saturday, June 30, 1 PM at Moorestown Friends Meeting House, 118 E. Main St., Moorestown, NJ 08057. Interment private.
