Edward William Amaismeier Obituary November 8, 1947 – May 29, 2012

Edward William Amaismeier, 64, passed from the earth at 10:30 PM on May 29, 2012, after a long fight with the effects of illness’s he received from Viet Nam. Ed is survived by his widow, Joy of the family home, Daughter Cynthia Joyce Amaismeier; Son, William Edward Joseph Amaismeier II and his wife Dana; Son, James Edward Amaismeier and his wife Vianka; and daughter Patience Allanna Hutchinson Amaismeier. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren: Brittany, Joshua, Abbigail, Aspen, His “Best Buddy” Ethan, Tristian, Stetson “Bear”, Emerald Jade, and Zander. He is survived by his father in law, William S. Crenshaw Sr. and his wife Mary Lou Hagin Crenshaw; which have held a special place in his heart. Ed has two brothers and two sisters who along with his mother; Mary E. Reilly of Pennsylvania have survived him. He was preceded in death by his father, and one brother. Ed was of the Christian faith, a Viet Nam Veteran, Two Purple Heart Recipient, and active among family and friends. He has fought a long and valiant fight throughout his life because of all the things he had to endure in Viet Nam and after his arrival “ HOME”. His most difficult and trying fight was his battle with his recent Cancer. He will be missed by all the people who lived him of his community of Irongate in which he lived. His favorite two people and the ones who have made the most impact on his life have been his Aunt and Uncle: Terri and Alfred “Buddy” Buzbee. To all the family and friends that we might have missed it is not because we have not thought of you, only that you have been the secret saviours and soldiers who have fought the good life for us on your knees.
