Dolores June Marszalec age 81 of Center Twp. passed away May 19,2012 at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey.

She was born July 9, 1930 in Chicago. She attended Chicago schools and graduated from Parker High School in 1949. On Oct. 25, 1952 she married Walter Marszalec in Chicago where they made their home until 1968 when they moved to Harbor Springs.

She had worked in the cafeteria at Harbor Springs Public Schools for many years. She was active with the Friendship Center and enjoyed water aerobics, bingo and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

Dolores is survived by her husband, children Michael of Harbor Springs, Tony (Susan) of Clarkston, Richard of Oden, Fred (Val) of Rochester Hills, Don of Big Sky, Mt., Carol (Bruce) Greig of Bloomfield Hills, grandchildren Leah Marszalec, Cameron Greig, Sara Greig and Connor Greig. Also surviving are her siblings Bentley (Marie) Baker, Dorothy Jackson, Sister Anne Richard, Joe (Evelyn) Baker, Jude (Gene) Loferski and Kathryn Bosse. Dolores was preceeded in death by her son Steven and sister Margaret Zielinski.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Wed. May 23rd at 11:00 AM at Holy Childhood Church. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6-8:00 PM with a Vigil service at 7:00 PM at the church. Interment will take place in Holy Childhood Cemetery.
