                               Jones and Son Chapel--Richton
                               2:00 P.M.

INTERMENT:            Sunset Cemetery--Richton

VISITATION:             Wednesday, May 16, 2012
                               Jones and Son Funeral Home--Richton
                               5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, May 17, 2012 at Jones and Son Chapel in Richton for Mrs. Helen Lavern Meadows Carey, 79, of Ellisville who passed away May 15, 2012 at South Central Regional Medical in Laurel.  Interment will be in the Sunset Cemetery in Richton with Bro. Jimmy Hood and Bro. Frank Hendry officiating at the services.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Jones and Son Funeral Home in Richton from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.

Serving as pallbearers will be Rocky Meadows, Wayne Meadows, Joey Nobles, Allen Anderson, Chris Longino, Jonathan Bates and Craig Carey as alternate.

Mrs. Carey was preceded in death by her parents, Mack and Lydia Meadows; two brothers, N.J. Meadows and Leon Meadows and a sister, Maxine M. Smith.

She is survived by her husband, of 65 years, James Carey of Ellisville; two daughters, Linda Kennedy (Garry) of Bay St. Louis and Glenda Stoll (Terry) of Arkansas; a son, Jimmy Carey (Una) of Sumrall; siblings, Marvin Meadows (Opal), A.E. Meadows (Lucille), Thyllis Mosley (William), Wendall Meadows (Shirley), Evis M. Jordon, Lanell Jordan (W.J.), Yvonne Lucas and Donnie Meadows Smith; grandchildren, Joseph Nobles, Dawana Vazquez, Dani Kennedy, Kelly Garner (M.J.), Kasey Anderson (Allen), Lacey Longino (Chris) and Craig Carey (Terri); eleven great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
