Oliver L. O’Fallon, 93, of Paris, Missouri, passed away at Monroe Manor Nursing Home in Paris on Tuesday, April 10, 2012.
Mr. O’Fallon was born on August 17, 1918, in Vernon County, Missouri, the son of Roy and Nellie Mae Stevenson O’Fallon. He was married to Thelma Buie on May 4, 1946 and she predeceased him on Sept. 10, 1994. He married Louise Teller on Nov. 17, 1997, at Columbia, Mo. Oliver came to Monroe County when he was 6 years old and farmed all his life. He was a beekeeper and enjoyed woodworking and making furniture. He served in the Army during WWII and was a member of the First Christian Church.
Mr. O’Fallon is survived by his wife, a grandson, Joe (Gwen) Bailey III, 2 great grandsons, Joseph Bailey IV and Shane Michael Bailey, and 2 step great grandchildren, Josey Rarick and Renesme Perry, all of Paris, Mo. He was predeceased by a daughter, Suzanne Lee Ralston.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2012, at 12 noon at the Agnew Funeral Home in Paris with Reverend Donna Scott and Reverend Erion Bergman officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service at the Agnew Funeral Home. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery at Paris.
