Mildred Fay Haga, 87, widow of MSGT Ed Haga, died Friday, April 6, 2012 in Camden, SC. She was born in Cripple Creek, CO to deceased parents, Elmer and Mable Saunders. She had three brothers and three sisters with Judy Squires of Longmont, CO, being the lone survivor. She and Ed had three children, Jerry Leroy, Patricia Ann, and Geraldine. She adopted and raised three of her grandchildren from an early age, Douglas, Toni, and Lee whom she showered with unconditional love. In addition, she had 11 grands and 22 great grands. She was predeceased by a son, Jerry Haga.

She was a rare individual who derived her pleasure from doing everything possible to supply the needs of her family members that looked to her for support.

Memorial services will be held at Hermitage Baptist Church in Camden at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 12, 2012 where she was a faithful member.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kershaw Health Hospice, 1315 Roberts St., Camden, SC 29020 who provided wonderful care and support to Millie and her daughter , Patricia with whom she lived.

A special thanks to LPN nurse, Sylvene O’Neal who cared for her while she was bedridden.
