Christian Biography of Doris Eileen Culbertson Doris Eileen Culbertson, the Daughter of Delbert Harry and Lillian (Lowery)Sanner, was born on April 20, 1929 at Davenport, Nebraska. She passed away on April 2, 2008 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, Nebraska at the age of 78 years, 11 months and 13 days. Doris attended school in Davenport and graduated from Davenport High School. She was united in marriage to Billie Jo ?B.J.? Culbertson on October 26, 1952 at Davenport, Nebraska. This union was blessed with four children. Doris & B.J. owned Culbertson?s store in Davenport. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family and her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Dean. Survivors include her husband B.J. of Davenport, Nebraska, and daughters, Eileen Lewison, Janet Bugay and husband Steve and Janice Knispel and husband Craig all of Kearney, Nebraska and Cathleen Brueggemann and husband Bill of Plattsmouth, Nebraska; 10 grandchildren, Evan Stuehm, Eric Stuehm, Tyler Fehringer, Danielle Fehringer, Joseph Knispel, James Knispel, Jeremy Knispel, Jordan Knispel, Joanna and Justin Brueggemann; and brothers, Robert Sanner and wife Lorna of York, Nebraska, Harry Sanner and wife Nelda of Davenport, Nebraska, and sister, Marilyn Keim and husband Larry of Davenport, Nebraska; nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Private Family services were held on Monday, April 7, 2008 from the Urbauer-Price Funeral Home in Davenport, Nebraska. Pallbearers were Evan Stuehm, Eric Stuehm, Tyler Fehringer, Joseph Knispel, Steve Bugay, and Bill Brueggemann. Interment was in the Davenport Cemetery at Davenport, Nebraska. Megrue-Price Funeral Home of Superior, Nebraska was in charge of the arrangements.
