Danny Grady Bloodworth, Sr.

Macon. . . Danny Grady Bloodworth, Sr. died Tuesday, March 27, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 30, 2012, at Wheeler Heights Baptist Church, 4318 Riggins Mill Road, Macon, Georgia 31217, with burial to follow at 1:00 p.m., in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2617 Vinson Highway, Milledgeville, Georgia 31061. The Reverend Franklin Etheridge will officiate. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Mr. Bloodworth, the son of the late William Henry Bloodworth and Hazel Marie Dupree Bloodworth was born September 28, 1950, in Macon, Georgia. He was retired from Huber Corporation and was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Vietnam War. Mr. Bloodworth was a member of Wheeler Heights Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and on numerous committees.

Survivors include his wife, Sheryl Bloodworth of Macon, children, Lisa Bloodworth of Jacksonville, Florida, Danny Bloodworth, Jr. of Macon and Curtis Bloodworth of Hampton, brothers, Billy (Beverly) Bloodworth of Twiggs County and Russell Johnson of Glenville, eight grandchildren, one great grandchild and two special people, Kendra Kristoff and Diana Scarborough.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Wheeler Heights Baptist Church, 4318 Riggins Mill Road, Macon, GA 31217.

Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
